The Decadent Chocolate Treat: Fudge Brownies

Hi guys, todays I’m back with yet another delicious treat as you know it is The Brownie Recipe. It is pure heaven if you are a chocolate lover like me, or even if you mildly like chocolate just have a bite you will know instantly why it call so. Before you will know these brownies will fly in your mouth, it is that good. These brownies are super fudgy, moist, and chocolaty, with crispy edges and crackly tops that will make chewy and gooey in an every bite, just by looking it’s so satisfying; isn’t it? Did I mention that this fudge brownies are easy to make, let get it start then.

Tips to make the Best Brownies:
  1. Use good quality chocolate in here, it is really matters for the outcome. Try to use dark chocolate that contain cocoa in between 50% – 70%. Or you could also use a mix of both semi sweet or dark chocolate in here, if you do so remember to cut some sugar in the recipe to balance the flavor.
  2. Adding coffee to the mixture is recommended, however it is optional; if you don’t want it its fine just add some vanilla or water in that place. 1 – 2 tbsp of coffee is good enough to enhance the chocolate flavor in these brownies.
  3. Do not over beat your batter once the flour and cocoa powder are added. That creates air pockets in the batter which will give you cake-like textured brownies.
  4. Please try not to over bake them, you can go a little bit over if you like them set a bit more just like mine did in here. But it’s not recommend if you’re aiming for the fudgiest brownies, go through the article I will include the details of baking time for brownies. At the end it is all about your personal preference. Do remember through brownies tend to bake even further slightly on the hot baking pan once it pulled out of the oven.
  5. Brownies may stick to the baking paper that aligned in tray after it bakes, so after lining the paper on baking sheet lightly brush melted butter or oil on it before pouring the batter in.
  6. Wait for them to cool down after bakes so that brownies will be gooier and fudgier even more, and they’ll be less likely to crumble when you slice them. Plus, they’ll have an even richer chocolate flavor. Trust me, it’s worth the wait!
  7. To get a clean cut wipe your knife with a hot damp towel in an each slicing.

For about 30 – 32 servings (1 ½ inch squares)
In a 12 × 10 inch rectangular pan or two 8 inch square pans
Ingredients of Brownie Recipe:
  1. Butter 250 g
  2. Chopped Chocolate 320g
  3. Eggs 4
  4. All-purpose flour 150g
  5. Unsweetened cocoa powder 30g
  6. Sugar 360g
  7. Coffee 1 tbsp
  8. Salt ½ tsp

Steps to Make The Brownie Recipe:
  1. First we need to bloom the chocolate. To do that melt together the chocolate and butter in microwave or on a double boiler. This will ensure to capture all the chocolate flavor in, so I’m considering its necessary, but you can totally omit the step & make everything in one bowl if you wish to. (Just by beating butter, sugar, eggs & chocolate in one go.)

2. Once they are melted add the sugar & coffee, mix till sugar is combined.

3. Add eggs one at a time & beat well.

4. In another bowl mix all the dry ingredients; flour, chocolate powder & salt.

5. Put the dry into the wet ingredients after sifting in because of the high fat in coco powder it can be lumpy

6. Now use a spatula & incorporate all ingredients well. (The batter itself is to die for! Try to resist from licking if you can)

7. In this stage you can include chopped chocolate or nuts to the mixture, hence I like brownies to be plain as it is, so I’m skipping it.

8. Pour the batter into a greased and lined with parchment paper & evenly distribute the batter. Sprinkle some nuts on the top if you like to.

9. Bake the brownies in a preheated oven at 180 °C for around 35 to 40 minutes.

10. To have super fudgy brownie do the toothpick test just like this,

11. After 30 minutes of baking insert a tooth pick in the middle of brownie;

      • If it comes out with sticking the batter on it – brownies are done.
      • If it comes out clean – brownies are over baked.
      • If it comes out with liquid batter on it – brownies are not baked, set time for more minutes.

I personally love to have clean tooth pick which means slightly over baked, so have it your own way that’s why I include all details in here.

11. At least let it cool for 30 to 45 minutes then cut into slices.

12. Wrap the brownie slices using wax paper & gift them for your loved ones. Or serve them with ice cream or a whipping cream on top.

As per making brownies to gift someone sprinkle some

    • Crushed nuts (peanuts, walnuts, pecans, almonds, etc.)
    • Dried fruits (dates, blueberries, cranberries, raisins)
    • Desiccated coconut
    • Caramel pieces or crushed candies
    • Diced marshmallows
    • Chopped Oreos or other cookies

on the top of brownie batter dividing it into portions. So that using same batter you can have different textured brownies. Per the presentation cut them into slices & place them on a box. Check up my cookie box it is ideal way to appreciate your love for special ones.

Fudgy brownies are incredibly fudgy the next day and the day after that too, which means we can prepare them in advance, sounds great isn’t it? Stored in a sealed container brownies will keep for up to four days in the fridge or 3 weeks in the freezer.
